Women’s Therapy in Georgia

You are strong, brilliant, and resilient.  But you have been through a lot in life. You know you have more to give to the world than what you are giving right now. You feel stuck, alone, or hopeless.

I know. I’ve been there. I’m doing the work with you. I’m committed to my own personal development and growth, so that I can walk with you through yours.  Let’s do it together.

As women, we constantly feel the pressure to live up to expectations – of society, of others, and of ourselves. This pressure can lead to feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, and burnt out.  But, it is time that we take a stand. It is time that you take a stand. Therapy may be your next step towards a more connected and balanced you.

Hi, I’m Monique, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and change agent.

Monique, LMFT womens counseling in Georgia

It is my privilege to walk with you on your journey toward growth and healing – toward fulfilling your greatest potential.

I promise as your therapist to:

  • Always work on myself - to be constantly seeking knowledge and support to become the best woman and therapist I can be

  • Expose your self-limiting beliefs

    • Are you constantly thinking or saying negative things about yourself?

    • Are you being held back by your own invisible glass ceiling?

  • See the best version of you and bring it to your attention

  • Highlight your strengths and abilities

  • Remind you that you are not your trauma – you are not your parents  – that you are not defined by what your family said about you or what has happened to you

You will leave our time together feeling safe, heard, and seen.

You might feel challenged or slightly uncomfortable along the way – this is only so that you can make room for growth and change. You will finish therapy with new insight into your inner self, new information about others and your relationships, and new tools to navigate the world as a more balanced and connected version of YOU.

Over the years I have developed a picture of what a human being living humanely is like. She is a person who understand, values and develops her body, finding it beautiful and useful; a person who is real and is willing to take risks, to be creative, to manifest competence, to change when the situation calls for it, and to find ways to accommodate to what is new and different, keeping that part of the old that is still useful and discarding what is not.
